The RE101 story.
Paul Thompson leads Real Estate 101 as its CEO and mentor. Before moving into real estate, he spent 15 years in a corporate career. He began investing in single-family properties, then expanded his attention to commercial real estate and the different decisions involved in buying and operating larger properties.
Real Estate 101 was founded by Peter Conti, a former auto mechanic who became a real estate investor and co-authored Commercial Real Estate Investing for Dummies. Paul and Peter's work brings together practical investing experience and a shared interest in making complex topics easier to understand.
Today, Real Estate 101 combines education, property examples, planning tools, and investor conversations. The aim is to help you ask better questions about a property, understand the assumptions behind the numbers, and decide what deserves further investigation. Your strategy, resources, and circumstances guide the next step.
